Our Vision and Core Values

Vision

ABC exists to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ from all Arabic speakers in the Ottawa area,
including those from nominal Christian, Muslim, and other backgrounds.

Our calling is to be a light and a living testimony of Christ’s love
among the Arab community in Ottawa and beyond.

Core Values

We are committed to three foundational values that shape our identity and mission:
Worship, Fellowship, and Discipleship.

Transformed Worship

OABC worships the Lord in spirit and in truth, using our heart language — Arabic.

• We place the Bible at the center of all teaching and gatherings.
• We proclaim the Word of God faithfully and clearly.
• We depend on the Holy Spirit to transform lives and lead people into true worship.

We value daily personal worship, as well as Sunday morning worship
when we gather together as one community to glorify the Lord.

Caring Fellowship

OABC is a culturally Arabic expression of God’s family,
caring for the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.

• We welcome members of the Arab community to worship and grow together.
• We support immigrants and refugees spiritually and socially.
• We show Christ’s love to our Muslim neighbors with respect and compassion.

In our fellowship, we strive to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ
through prayer, service, and mutual care.

Discipleship

OABC is committed to making disciples among new Arabic believers.

• We value evangelism and bringing people to know Christ personally.
• We train believers to grow as disciples of Christ and to share God’s heart with others.
• We equip members not only to preserve the fruit of evangelism, but also to serve as city missionaries in Ottawa, Ontario, and beyond.
